I Am Zlatan UK Trailer See Rise Of A Legend

Anyone who knows me, there’s only one Swedish footballer that deserves ‘Legend’ status, that’s Henrik Larsson. Even ‘Legends’ have heroes and the King of Kings is a hero for fellow Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic who also has his own film. Today we get a glimpse of that film’s UK Trailer as Signature Entertainment release the UK Trailer for I Am Zlatan, which teases the rise of a legend.

The film did have a release in certain parts of the world including Sweden to become one of the country’s biggest box office hits. The reviews have been positive and now it’s heading to the UK later in the Summer. The film is is based the book I Am Zlatan, co-written by David Lagercrantz (who also also wrote The Girl In The Spider’s Web). It’s a rags to riches story of the players rise from his local club to his days at Juventus and to becoming one of football’s great and colourful players.

I Am Zlatan is the entertaining rags to riches biopic of the extraordinary meteoric rise of football legend. Facing adversity in an urban jungle, a young Zlatan finds salvation in football and soon discovers his remarkable talent. Against all the odds his confidence and skill catapult him to the top of international football, where he fulfils his dreams playing for Malmö, Ajax and Juventus. Starring Granit Rushiti as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Dominic Andersson Bajraktati. In Sweden the film has already surpassed blockbusters such as The Batman and Uncharted to become the number one film in cinemas and the largest opening of a Swedish picture since Christmas 2019. Directed by Jens Sjögren based on the book I am Zlatan by David Lagercrantz with Zlatan Ibrahimović and adapted for the screen by Jakob Beckman with David Lagercrantz.

The film stars Granit Rushiti ,Dominic Andersson Bajraktati, Cedomir Glisovic, Linda Haziri, and Gijs Naber. Jens Sjögren directs this one.

I Am Zlatan in will be released in UK and Irish Cinemas as well as on Digital Platforms from 17th June. Then 27th June the film will get a DVD release.
