Hugh Jackman States That Wolverine 3 Will Be The Last One

After eight movies as the adamantium hero, Hugh Jackman has confirmed he’s pulling out those claws, toning down as The Wolverine 3 movie will be the last one.

Jackman told Australian talkshow host Dr. Oz. “This will be my last one,It just felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years! I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it. I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.”

After the announcement and Hugh Jackman‘s social media hint in Easter ‘One Last time’, director James Mangold followed up with saying “Can’t wait to make this, HJ!”.

Nothing is known about the untitled 3rd movie apart from Patrick Stewart will be in it and be released 2017 based on a script to written by Michael Green. Another rumour is the film will mark the end of the X-Men Cinematic universe reason why Stewart back as Professor X  whom brought Logan into X-Men. Will this be the final ever, rumours do say Jackman may appear in X-Men: Apocalypse which is due out in 2017 too. If Wolverine will be in the next X-Men movie but not Hugh Jackman and it’ s not the final film for the franchise would this mean there maybe a new actor been lined up to pick up the claws? But who?
