How Art Thou GNOMEO & JULIET Trailer!
E1 Entertainment/Touchstone Pictures have released the first trailer for GNOMEO & JULIET , the greatest ever love story ever told now with gnomes?!!!
This family animated adventure depicts the classic Shakespeare story where Garden gnomes where the story’s lovers are voiced by James McAvoy & Emily Blunt and the rest of the cast is virtually a who’s who of British cinema & Television with Michael Caine, Jason Statham, Maggie Smith, Patrick Stewart, Ashley Jensen, Stephen Merchant, Matt Lucas, Jim Cummings, Julie Walters, Richard Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne. The movie has been directed by Shrek 2 director Kelly Asbury with Elton John( he is also a executive producer on the movie too) providing the soundtrack with some of his classic songs he co-wrote with long time writing partner Bernie Taupin.
Gnomeo & Juliet will be released on February 11th, 2011 in USA with the UK/Irish release also February but exact date still to be confirmed.
Synopsis:The greatest love story ever told, starring…garden gnomes? In “Gnomeo & Juliet,” Shakespeare’s revered tale gets a comical, off-the-wall makeover. Directed by Kelly Asbury (co-director of “Shrek 2”) and showcasing both classic and original songs by Elton John, the film features the voices of James McAvoy and Emily Blunt as Gnomeo and Juliet, who have as many obstacles to overcome as their quasi namesakes when they are caught up in a feud between neighbors. But with plastic pink flamingos and thrilling lawnmower races in the mix, can this young couple find a happy ending?
