Hooked On The Feeling ,Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Begins Filming

Time to start making those wonderful mixtapes and get hooked on the feeling once again as Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 has officially started filming.The amplifiers also at the ready as the first promo image for the film was released too teased by the director on Twitter, these guys are rockstars and Groot is still a baby too!

Marvel Studios have confirmed to us via a email to The Peoples Movies HQ filming is under way and James Gunn is returning as the film’s director once again.The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax with Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket and Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot. Also returning will be Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillan as Nebula; and Sean Gunn as Kraglin.

The press release also revealed new cast members with the biggest name been Kurt Russell, at this stage we don’t know his role yet.Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.Our money’s on he maybe Peter’s father? Other new cast include Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby), Chris Sullivan (The Knick,The Drop).

After the unexpected success of the first guardians of the galaxy it was obvious a sequel was on the cards not just because its a part of Marvel Cinema Universe that hasn’t been explored too much on. Like the way Deadpool is doing it now, delivered a even more fun side to the now overcrowded comic book film genre.Claiming just under $800 million is mighty impressive for a comic title that’s had more series cancelled than Imelda Marcos has shoes, its a great feat. The pressure is on now to deliver much of the same if not even more in the sequel, just hope with the expectations now high for this film it doesn’t fall victim the mediocre sequel disease that plague many successful other films.

Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 is filming at The Pinewood Studios in Atlanta Georgia 5th May 2017 just after Doctor Strange which is released November this year.
