“Hello Christine” Watch Second Nocebo UK Trailer

Eva Green in Nocebo out 9th December

Lorcan Finnegan early December will be returning to the realm of nightmares with the Psychological horror, Nocebo. Ahead that release, Vertigo Releasing have released a second UK Trailer that says ‘hello Christine‘ help is here.

Finnegan’s mind bending 2019 nightmare Vivarium starring Jesse Eisenbergย andย Imogen Poots. Played with our minds and his latest teases will do the same

Eva Green stars in this one, playing a fashion designer who has a mysterious illness.ย  The doctorsย  are puzzled and cannot find a cure. These tests and results frustrate and anger her husband (Mark Strong), they do get offeredย  some help. That help comes in the shape of their Filipino carer who uses traditional folk healing opening a nightmarish truth.

This film is been labelled ‘folk horror’ which seems to be the in thing with horror.ย  Jessie Buckley in Men, Noomi Rapace in Lamb are also 2 recent folk horror with women in horrific situations. This type of sub genre can take you in many directions, hard to pin down and we likeย  this! Also a good move to keep the trailers short (both 1 minute long). Curiosities will be tested!
