Boots on the ground seem to be more of a rarity in war for Super nations, it’s all in the sky with drones and in Eye of The Sky International Trailer, Helen Mirren bombs the ‘enemy’ with today’s sophisticated weapons.

With the recent terrorism in Paris and David Cameron’s finally getting his way sending UK fighterjets into Syria this film certainly the tensions that face us internationally.

Eye In The Sky is a contemporary international thriller set in the world of counter-intelligence and remote warfare.

London-based military intelligence officer Colonel Katherine Powell (Helen Mirren) is remotely commanding a top secret drone operation to capture a group of dangerous terrorists from their safe-house in Nairobi, Kenya. The mission suddenly escalates from a “capture” to a “kill” operation as Powell realizes that the terrorists are about to embark on a deadly suicide mission. From his base in Nevada, American drone pilot Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) is poised to destroy the safe-house when a nine year old girl enters the kill zone just outside the walls of the house. With unforeseen collateral damage now entering the equation, the impossible decision of when to strike gets passed up the “kill chain” of politicians and lawyers as the seconds tick down.

Let’s be honest the world is in chaos politically and this film highlights some of that madness that shrouds all of us and our governments. Anyone old enough to remember the great wars of the past will no,the common man and woman will come out of the conflicts losing, be it death& destruction of loved ones and home or politically worse off than before. Another thing highlight is the use of Drone strikes, something that was last seen in Good Kill starring Ethan Hawke. The rights and wrongs will be debated forever by both sides as ever no overall solution or reason will ever surface.
