Heartstopper Season 3 premiere date announced

Netflix have got great news for fans of their ever popular Heartstopper series. Season three will be streaming on the channel this Autumn with another 8 episodes that promise to ‘steamy’!

Joe Locke, Kit Connor as Nick and Charlie. The new season promises “Nick and Charlieโ€™s relationship deepens, our favourites will face their biggest emotional challenges yet“.

Alice Oseman, Creator and Writer, commented on the upcoming season – โ€˜I cannot wait for the third season of Heartstopper to be released in October. Season two ended with Nick beginning to understand the extent of Charlieโ€™s mental health issues, and itโ€™s this that will drive the story through season three. While Heartstopper will always celebrate the joyful and point towards hope, Iโ€™m really excited that we are allowing the tone of the show to mature alongside our beloved characters growing up. Mental health, sex, university ambitions and more: Nick, Charlie, and the Heartstopper teens are getting older, learning more about themselves and each other, and experiencing new desires, new fears, and new joys as they approach adulthood.โ€™

The boys have made this little announcement video confirming when Heartstopper Season 3 will arrive.

Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges. As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go to plan.

Returning cast include William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Leila Khan, Rhea Norwood and Jenny Walser .Heartstopper Season 3 will launch on Netflix from October, exact date still to be decided.
