We all know the Slasher and home invasion sub genre pardon the expression ‘done to death’. Brea Grant’sย  indie horror thriller mixes both sub genres deliver a new spin with Lucky. The film is heading to Shudder and tonight we get a look at the official Trailer. He Always seems to come back after he’s dead!

Home invasion horror by way of a time loop mystery, Lucky looksย  a uniquely nightmarish, darkly funny, and timely slasher, and a thrilling addition to the Final Girl genre.

Brea Grant also takes the lead roleย  as May, a popular self-help book author. She finds herself a target of a mysterious man who has intentions to kill. He returns every night, but no one believes May or willing to help her, forcing May to take the matter into her own hands.

Sadly we live in a world where people are stalkedย  but can’t seem to be caught. Predominantly it’s women who are the targets, one could say this is sub genre itself. Just have to look at the recent Invisible Man going away back to Rosemary’s Baby. The trailer does highlight the consequences not believing the victims and the world even more terrifying.

Life takes a sudden turn for May, a popular self-help book author, when she finds herself the target of a mysterious man with murderous intentions. Every night, without fail he comes after her, and every day the people around her barely seem to notice.

The film also stars Dhruv Uday Singh and Kausar Mohammed.

Lucky will premiere and debut exclusively to Shudder on 4th Marchย  in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
