The Hangover Part III Will Take Place in LA, Start Filming September Says Cooper

Twilight Saga,Transformers have proven you don’t have to have made a good film to get the money and let’s be honest compared to The Hangover Part 1, The Hangover Part 2 wasn’t a great film but still raked in the cash. So when the chat started even before part 2 appeared at the box office it was no surprise to learn the wolfpack will be back for one more adventure but for a while now we haven’t had any indication when the filming for the next instalment would start until now.

Bradley Cooper speaking on The Graham Norton Show here in the UK to promote today’s release of The Hangover Part 2 on DVD/Blu-Ray, he told the Irish presenter: “I hope we’ll start shooting next September. I know (director) Todd Phillips is working on the script. We stuck to the formula in the second one but the third would need to close the trilogy. I think it’ll take place in L.A. and not adhere to the structure.

Back in the Summer hints were dropped that the actual third film would be heading to Amsterdam and going with the 2 films plot structures the Dutch capital would have been an ideal location to keep the chaotic adventure. But now Cooper has dropped the hints its now closer to home on Los Angeles but it’s all still speculation so anything can happen. So even the gossip of breaking one of the characters out of a mental institution and the story line taking a darker route possibly killing some of the characters off still could be a possibility. What ever direction the film will go it will be interesting to see how the characters react to the different path and we can assure the Wolf Pack will go out in style! The Hangover Part III is aiming for a Summer 2013 release.
