Hammer Films Go ‘Sci-fi’ With The Abominable Snowman 4K!
Hammer Films next month will dive into their film catacombs with another classic, The Abominable Snowman! The classic British sci-fi horror film, starring legend Peter Cushing (The Curse of Frankenstein, Dracula) – is unleashed as a brand-new 4K restored Limited Collectorโs Edition in August.
The legendary studio have painstakingly restored the film in 4K from newly uncovering elements (long believed lost and not used for previous restorations). This is the most definitive version for fans of The Abominable Snowman. Cushing and Hollywood tough guy Forrest Tucker (Break in the Circle) give powerful performances as a well-meaning scientist and a ruthless entrepreneur both intent on trapping the fabled Yeti.
Directed by Quatermass creator Nigel Kneale (The Quatermass Xperiment) and BAFTA-winning Val Guest (Quatermass II, The Men of Sherwood Forest) back together, the full-length uncut version of this thrilling fantasy horror is packed with exciting additional content, including a 120-page book.
