Gwyneth Paltrow Joins Soderbergh's Contagion Cast

Last we found out Steven Soderbergh‘s next movie after Knockout (his female spy movie) will be Contagion a high octaine thriller about a deadly virus outbreak . Apart from the director this movie does have an impressive cast with Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard and Jude Law and Deadline Hollywood is now reporting that Gwyneth Paltrow has now joined the cast.

There’s not alot of information about the actual story and what and who including Paltrow will be playing as Steven Soderbergh is currently filming Knockout. What we do know is that the movie has an $60 million budget with the script been written by Bourne Ultimatum/The Informant! writer Scott Z Burns with no distrubutor picked up the movie yet.

The first question many people may ask will the movie be like Outbreak (Dustin Hoffman/ Rene Russo) or the crapness we call blindness? It would be nice to have an darker edge instead of over the top hollywood blockbuster that outbreak was though I did enjoy it. There is an movie before this for Soderbergh but Im sure welll here more about it as the year goes by.
