Watch UK Trailer for indie Neo-Western The Stolen Valley

Lightbulb Film Distribution have sent us the UK Trailer for Indie Neo-Western thriller The Stolen Valley.

The film originally was premiered as Alta Valley and is directed by Jesse Edwards in his debut directorial feature. Lightbulb Film Distribution‘s Peter Thompson describedย  “This is an impressive debut feature from writer and director Jesse Edwards. The relentless action and stunning cinematography will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. And who doesnโ€™t love a gruffly-voiced baddie?!โ€

The film stars Briza Covarrubias and Allee Sutton Hethcoat as two outlaws, attempting to outrun those hunting them. The Stolen Valley is all about a Navajo girl and an outlaw (Covarrubias and Hethcoat) who rob a pawn shop. In order to reach Alta Valley, the pair must outrun the men tracking them down.

It looks a little cliched but overall fans of modern Westerns should find enough in this to enjoy it.

Unable to pay for her mother’s medical treatment, Lupe Reyes, a Mexican-Navajo mechanic, sets out for help from her father whom she’s never met. On the way, she is bound to Maddy Monroe by accidentally helping her rob a pawn shop. Lupe and Maddy must outrun the men from the pawn, travel to Alta Valley, and confront Lupe’s father Carl for the first time. Upon their arrival Carl’s many injustices are revealed, including his mistreatment of Lupe’s Navajo family, forcing Lupe to stand up to the corruption.

The rest of the cast also includes Micah Fitzgerald, Paula Miranda, Paulette Lamori, Oscar Balderrama, Ricardo Herranz, and Danny Arroyo. The Stolen Valley will be released Digitally in the UK and Ireland from 15th April.
