Go Behind The Action In New The Gunman Featurette

If you’ve just got round to seeing Liam Neeson as an Action star, this Friday we see another unexpected experienced actor takes on the action genre when Sean Penn becomes The Gunman. In a new featurette called ‘Behind The Scenes Of Action‘ Penn, director Pierre Morel (Taken) and stunt co-ordinator Markos Rounthwaite chat about the action

In The Gunman Penn plays a former Special Forces soldier, Jim Terrier. Suffering from PTSD and trying to reconnect with his long-time lover, Jim sees himself dragged into a cat and mouse game that spans across Europe.

Whatever you do never call Penn an action star he’ll probably give you a good kicking in a fight, he maybe 54 years old but the only connection with the man with the particular set of skills is the director Morel. He delivered the best of all the Taken films, so the action we will see will be high driven octane stuff with Penn delivering a touch of drama to the madness. Joining Penn in The Gunman are Jasmine Trinca,Idris ELba, Javier Bardem, Ray Winstone, and Mark Rylance with the film arriving at a UK cinema near you from Friday 20th March.
