Glenn Close Set To Join Apple TV+ Tehran Season 2 Cast
Sometimes you don’t appreciate a film of series until you see the cast or who is about to join the cast. Today Apple announce that Multi Academy Award-nominee Glenn Close (Hillbilly Elegy, The Wife) is set set to join the cast of the second season of the critically acclaimed, international hit Apple Original series, Tehran.
The Apple Original series is a global hit espionage thriller from Moshe Zonder and Omri Shenhar that tells the thrilling story of Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, who goes deep undercover on a dangerous mission in Tehran that places her and everyone around her in dire jeopardy.
After debuting on Israeli network Kan 11 and globally on Apple TV+, Tehran received a second season renewal. She will be joining a cast which includes Niv Sultan (Flawless, She Has It, Temporarily Dead), Shaun Toub (Homeland, Crash), Navid Negahban (Homeland, Legion, Aladdin), Shervin Alenabi (Baghdad in My Shadow), Liraz Charhi (A Late Quartet); and Menashe Noy.
Tehran is created by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden and Maor Kohn, and directed by Daniel Syrkin. Omri Shenhar serves as writer alongside Zonder. Syrkin and Shenhar are also co-creators. The executive producers are Dana Eden and Shula Spiegel for Donna and Shula Productions, Moshe Zonder, Omri Shenhar, Daniel Syrkin, Alon Aranya for Paper Plane Productions, Julien Leroux for Paper Entertainment, Peter Emerson for Cineflix Studios, and Eldad Koblenz for Kan 11.
There is no word from Apple TV+ when Season 2 of Tehran will be launched on their channel.
