Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl Starring Pamela Anderson Gets A Trailer
Roadside Attractions have released the first trailer for indie drama The Last Showgirl starring the one and only Pamela Anderson.
If we go by the reviews since the film’s world premiere at Toronto Film Festival, a career performance and a reason to check this one out. The reception and critical acclaim Gia Coppola‘s film has received for Anderson’s performance reminds of Mickey Rourke and The Wrestler. Both actors not always known for starring the best of films and films showcasing both have acting chops.

The Last Showgirl, a poignant film of resilience, rhinestones and feathers, stars Pamela Anderson as Shelly, a glamorous showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run. Directed by Gia Coppola, The Last Showgirl co-stars Oscarยฎ, SAGยฎ Award and Golden Globeยฎ winner Jamie Lee Curtis as Shellyโs best friend, who brings her own unique interpretation and brilliance to the story, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka and Billie Lourd. Written by Kate Gersten, the film is produced by Robert Schwartzman, Natalie Farrey and Gia Coppola and features a new original song โBeautiful That Way,โ sung by pop superstar Miley Cyrus, produced by Academy Award nominee Andrew Wyatt and written by Wyatt, Cyrus and Lykke Li.
The film also Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Billie Lourd, Kiernan Shipka, and Brenda Song. Roadside Attractions will give The Last Showgirl a limited release in the U.Sย on 13th December, then a wider release from 15th January 2025. Picturehouse Entertainment will release the film in the UK and Ireland with previews on 11th February 2025 with main release date on 25th February 2025.
