This March you might have to keep wrapped up a little longer with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Sony Pictures have released a 2nd UK Trailer that unleashes ghost on New York City!

The old meets the new in the sequel to the ‘soft reboot’ to the original Ghostbusters film. Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife was a surprise hit and now we have a sequel. The 2021 film brought the remaining original team back into the fold, helping Egon Spangler’s family.

For this one we are heading back to familiar territory of New York. Back to where it all started, back to the firehouse which looks like it’s had an upgrade. The trailer unearths a lot more of the story with the technology to capture the ghosts. They will need as this looks a new type of ghost that threatens to send humanity into an second Ice Age.

We d get a glimpse at the various ghost, with Slimer and Gozer giving the film more nostalgia . Can the new gear defeat Death Chill?

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

The cast includes Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, and Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and  Annie Potts. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will now be released a week earlier than first advertised in UK and Irish cinema, on 22nd March.
