FrightFest Selected Anthology Bad Candy Gets A UK Trailer

When it comes to horror anthologies, very few of the modern ones get the thumbs up from genre fans. Michael Dougherty‘s 2007 Trick ‘r Treat is considered one of the best, this year we may have a new challenger. The film is Bad Candy and today we get a look at the indie horror in the shape of the UK Trailer courtesy of Kaleidoscope Entertainment.

The film stars Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Gremlins’ star Zach Galligan spinning six terrifying tales with plenty of tricks and treats up their blood-splattered sleeves! Galligan and Taylor play radio DJ’s in the small town of New Salem. The pair tell scary tales of old which leads to some real life scares!

The film looks to dive into local myths of our fictional town as well the main characters of each segment. Trick ‘r Treat surprised many thanks to it’s quality and scares, this does look the perfect film for Halloween. Just like any film can it live up to the buzz it made on the film festival circuit .

As the watery Autumn sun fades, the dark clouds of a pitch black Halloween night begin to settle over a small American town, New Salem.

On the local radio station, the annual fright fest show is underway, when two full-on shock-jocks begin to retell local legends of terror from yesteryear, bringing them to life before your bloodshot eyes…

Bad Candy is an original, contemporary anthology of fresh horror, starring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Zach Galligan (Gremlins, Hatchet 3) and Ryan Kiser (The Dawn), featuring seven terrifying tales that are just to die for.

In this small town, it’s a grisly end for most, but will a few good souls survive to see another dawn?

Kaleidoscope Entertainment will release Bad Candy on digital, DVD in the UK and Ireland from 4th October.
