Former Teen Detective Back In Action In Veronica Mars Trailer
The power of Kickstarter has really shown it’s true power last year and thanks to its successful campaign TV’s favourite former teen detective has a movie, watch the official trailer for Veronica Mars.
Sometimes you don’t realise how popular a show is until it’s off air and Veronica Mars was a popular show and though bringing a show back to the small screen is a risky move this new film maybe a safer route to test the waters. There is however the question does Kristen Bell want to go further than the cinematic upgrade?
Set many years after the series Veronica has turned her back on amateur detective, soon to be a corporate Lawyer she finds herself back on her old stomping ground at the Neptune. She’s heading back for a reunion with a difference to find out why her ex-boyfriend has been accused of murder and herself caught inthe middle of a love triangle between her ex and current boyfriend.
Raising nearly $6 million dollars may not be groundbreaking in film budgets when you look at how the money was raised its a great achievement. I’ve never been a fan of the original series but the power of the fans highlight Veronica Mars still has an audience crying out to seeing her on the big screen.
No UK date has been set but for American Mars fans 14th March is the date for your calenders. Veronica Mars co-stars TV show regulars Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell and Krysten Ritter with a host of new faces.
