First Trailer For The Perfect Neighbour, Sundance Winning Documentary

Netflix has released the first trailer for the award-winning documentary The Perfect Neighbour, which you can watch below!

The film had its World Premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where it was awarded the Directing Award: U.S. Documentary for Geeta Gandbhir. It is also an Official Selection at the SXSW Film Festival, CPH: DOX and the Miami Film Festival. 

“The Perfect Neighbour is a deeply personal project, created to transform grief into purpose and honour the lasting legacy of Ajike Owens and her family,” Gandbhir told TUDUM. “My team at Message Pictures, along with our incredible partners at SO’B Productions and Park Pictures, are thrilled the film will be available on Netflix, offering audiences worldwide the chance to experience this urgent and powerful story.”

Using bodycam footage from dozens of police visits, The Perfect Neighbour bears witness to a tight-knit community navigating one neighbour’s relentless harassment. But her hostility takes a sinister turn when it escalates into a fatal crime.
