First Trailer For GONE Starring Amanda Seyfried

Via the lovely people at Yahoo, Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer of their new thriller GONE which stars Amanda Seyfried who plays a young woman who suspects her missing sister has been abducted by the serial killer who kidnapped her two years previously. Nothing has been hunky Dory for the young actress who shone in Mean Girls, got bigger when she appeared as the bride to be in Mama Mia but since then its been a string of bad films such as Jennifer’s Body, Chloe, In Time, Red Riding Hood will make it hard for people to take this one a seriously. Looking at the trailer GONE isn’t too bad that feels more like a Taken style revenge flick, which has a Tron Legacy score!

GONE also stars Jennifer Carpenter, Sebastian Stan, Wes Bentley, Joel David Moore and Michael Paré and will arrive in UK&Ireland and USA February 24th 2012.

Jill Parrish comes home from working the night shift to discover that her sister Molly has disappeared. Jill is convinced that Molly has been abducted by the same serial killer from whom Jill escaped the year before and that by sundown Molly will be dead. The police think Jill is crazy, so she sets out alone to rescue her. Is Jill mentally ill, merely chasing shadows, or will she find Molly before it’s too late?
