Paramount Pictures have just posted online the first teaser trailer for Gore Verbinski’s animated action adventure RANGO.The movie is based on an idea Verbinski had with Aviator writer JohnLogan on writing duties with Johnny Depp as the lead voice of the chamelon which has seemed to have lost its indentity.

Verbinksi was the man who directed the Pirates of The Carribbean movies and who better to make sure your movie will be a box-office sucess (or at least be strong on sales), who else but good old Johnny Depp the bank managers favourite actor. The movie is about Rango a household pet who goes on a journey of self discovery and watching the teaser trailer below it is a tad on the confusionan side of things but it is early days as the movie isn’t due out until April 2011 (USA March 2011), so hopefully future trailers may give us a better insight.

Bill Nighy, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina,Timothy Olyphant and Stephen Root also lend there voices to this animation.
