We’re a few weeks away from a new year, so it must be time for a Jason Statham? Correct! Black Bear UK have launched Shelter First Trailer and The Stath goes into full survival mode!
Don’t expect to hide. Mr Statham will find you in Ric Roman Waugh’s (Greenland, Angel Has Fallen) latest action thriller. This year’s film A Working Man, wasn’t great, but we do love his films, they’re escapism on many silly levels. The new one does show some hope of redemption which our leading man is good at!
When it comes to Jason Statham films, the synopsis is usually irrelevant. We just need to know in the words of Bill Goldberg, ‘who’s next?’ In Shelter, The Stath is a reclusive man who must confront his tumultuous past whilst protecting a young girl.
Yes the synopsis is very generic, we don’t care it’s just the way those who step in our hero’s path get taken out. This one also stars Billy Nighy, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Harriet Walker and Bodhi Rae Breathnach.
