In 2020 we’ve got used to delays and news of anything been delayed sort of comes with no surprise. When films were delayed before this current crisis, it’s a relief to see it finally getting a release. Three years after delays and re-shoots sci-fi thriller Chaos Walking is finally walking towards it’s release!
The film is based on Patrick Ness novel The Knife of Never Letting Go starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley. The film is directed by Doug Liman and was filmed between Spider-Man: Far From Home and Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, so a while back.
Chaos Walking is set in a Dystopian world where a pathogen called the ‘Noise’ has killed all the women. Letting those living beings hear each other’s thoughts.
Lionsgate Films have released the First Official Poster for the film which you can check out below. Will we have a chance to see the film’s first footage in the shape of a Trailer?
In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.
From the director of The Bourne Identity and Edge of Tomorrow and based on the best-selling novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley star with Mads Mikkelsen, Demián Bichir, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Jonas, Kurt Sutter, and David Oyelowo in Chaos Walking.
There is no confirmed release date for Chaos Walking just yet. We expect Lionsgate Films to release the film in 2021.
