‘There’s been a murder!’ No it’s not Taggart the long awaited feature version, instead See How They Run.

The 1950’s set murder mystery was advertised with unknown title now has an official title. Searchlight Pictures have also revealed the film’s cast which is led by Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan.

Next Rockwell and Ronan the cast also includes David Oyelowo (Selma), Adrien Brody (The French Dispatch), and Ruth Wilson (His Dark Materials). Harris Dickinson (Beach Rats), Sian Clifford (Fleabag), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (The Queen’s Gambit), Shirley Henderson (Stan and Ollie), Reece Shearsmith (High-Rise), Paul Chahidi (Twelfth Night), Pearl Chanda (I May Destroy You), Charlie Cooper (Avenue 5), and Pippa Bennett-Warner (Harlots).

We find ourselves in 1950’s London West End a smash hit play has halted when a important member of the cast is found murdered. A veteran detective (Rockwell) and ambitious rookie (Ronan) attempt to solve the murder.

In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theatre underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.

See How They Run will be released in UK, Irish cinemas from 9th September. Searchlight Pictures haven’t confirmed the U.S Release date apart from 2022.
