First Look At The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself

Netflix have revealed a first look and release date for The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself.
The edgy new Young Adult drama will be released next month in time for Halloween. The series is based on the Half Bad trilogy of books written by Sally Green. The series stars Jay Lycurgo (Titans, The Batman, I May Destroy You), Nadia Parkes (Domina, Starstruck).
We find Sixteen-year-old Nathan (Jay Lycurgo) who is the illegitimate son of the world’s most dangerous witch. Fearing he will follow in his father’s footsteps, Nathan is constantly monitored. But as the boundaries between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ fray, Nathan – along with mischievous Annalise and charismatic Gabriel – will soon discover who he truly is.
The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself is a darkly humorous, romantic, roller-coaster ride of a young adult show. It’s a story about the indomitable will to survive and defy the odds. The series is based on the Half Bad trilogy of books written by Sally Green. Sixteen-year-old Nathan (Jay Lycurgo) is the illegitimate son of the world’s most dangerous witch. The rest of the cast will include Emilien Vekemans (Transferts), Isobel Jesper Jones, Paul Ready (Motherland, The Terror), David Gyasi (Carnival Row, Troy: Fall of a City), Kerry Fox (Conversations with Friends, Last Tango in Halifax), Liz White (Unforgotten, Brexit: The Uncivil War), Karen Connell (Vikings), Fehinti Balogun (I May Destroy You, Dune), Misha Butler (Kiss Me First) as well as multiple Brit Award and Mercury Music Prize nominee RoÃsÃn Murphy making her drama debut.
The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself series will launch on Netflix from 28th October.
