First Look At Harry Styles Drama My Policeman

This weekend Harry Styles might be heading to Glasgow for his music tour, later this year he’ll be back on the big screen. Today Amazon give us a first look at that film with a couple images from My Policeman which also stars Emma Corrin and David Dawson.
The film is based on the 2012 the book by Bethan Roberts with Styles playing Tom a policeman in 1950’s Britain. Who finds himself caught in the middle of a love triangle with teacher Marion (Emma Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (David Dawson).
The film itself main time period is actually 1990’s with Linus Roache, Gina McKee, and Rupert Everett as our older versions of our main characters. This is a LGBQT+ drama with Patrick being Tom’s one time lover during the 1950’s when it was a illegal to be in same sex relationships.

A beautifully crafted story of forbidden love and changing social conventions, My Policeman follows three young people – policeman Tom (Harry Styles), teacher Marion (Emma Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (David Dawson)– as they embark on an emotional journey in 1950s Britain. Flashing forward to the 1990s, Tom (Linus Roache), Marion (Gina McKee), and Patrick (Rupert Everett) are still reeling with longing and regret, but now they have one last chance to repair the damage of the past. Based on the book by Bethan Roberts, director Michael Grandage carves a visually transporting, heart-stopping portrait of three people caught up in the shifting tides of history, liberty, and forgiveness.
My Policeman will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st October. Before heading to Prime Video globally from 4th November.
