First Look At Disney’s Next Animated Feature Strange World

Disney may have just recently celebrated the release of their 60th feature, with Encanto. Today they are looking toward the new year by teasing us with a first look at movie 61, Strange World.
Concept art is now available for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming feature film Strange World. The movie is being directed by Don Hall (Raya And The Last Dragon, Big Hero 6) along with Qui Nguyen who co-wrote Raya, co-directing this one.
They also released some info on the original action-adventure which journeys deep into an uncharted and treacherous land where fantastical creatures await the legendary Clades, a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and by far most crucial mission.
The image itself doesn’t reveal anything , what we learned this film will have a big family focus much like the studios current release. This time family seem to one with no particular powers, or are they? It’s early days and we are already looking forward to the first trailer!

According to director Don Hall, “Strange World” is a nod to pulp magazines — popular fiction from the first half of the 20th century that was printed on inexpensive wood pulp paper. “I loved reading the old issues of pulps growing up,” he said. “They were big adventures in which a group of explorers might discover a hidden world or ancient creatures. They’ve been a huge inspiration for ‘Strange World.’”
Disney‘s Strange World will be released in UK and Irish cinemas 23rd November 2022.
