First Look At Babak Anvari’s Netflix Film I Came By

Streaming giants Netflix have released a batch of first look images for upcoming thriller I Came By starring Hugh Boneville, Kelly McDonald and George MacKay.
The film has been described as a ‘neo-noir’ thriller directed by BAFTA winning Iranian filmmaker Babak Anvari (Wounds, Under The Shadow). The film marks his second English language feature for Netflix as well as the first film from the new UK slate upcoming releases. This film also marks a change of genres for Anvari too who has made a name for himself in the horror genre.
Privilege hides the darkest secrets in this London based crime thriller. When two young graffiti artist target the homes of wealthy. When the pair break into a former Judge they discover a shocking dark secret endangering themselves and everyone around them.
From the BAFTA-winning director of Under The Shadow and Wounds, Babak Anvari, comes an arresting London-set crime thriller, I CAME BY, channeling classic Hitchcockian suspense via contemporary themes of ‘Establishment’ privilege and corruption.
A pair of rebellious, young graffiti writers, Toby (George Mackay) and Jay (Percelle Ascott) regularly target the homes of the U.K’s wealthy elite and ruling class. When Toby breaks into the home of renowned former High Court Judge Sir Hector Blake (Hugh Bonneville) he discovers a shocking secret that leads him on a journey endangering himself and those closest to him.
The film also stars Percelle Ascott and Varada Sethu. I Came By will get a limited UK and Irish cinema release on 19th August then launch on Netflix from 31st August.
