Apple TV+ has unveiled the first look images for their upcoming highly anticipated limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey.

The six episode series stars Samuel L.Jackson in the titular lead role next to Dominque Fishback. Family, memory and legacy as Jackson stars as Ptolemy Grey an elderly man forgotten by his family. One could say also ‘forgotten’ about himself as he has dementia and must investigate death of his nephew thanks to new medicine.

The series is based on the book written by Walter Mosely which he wrote in 2010 after watching his own mother deteriorate from the dreadful disease. Mosely has written the series script as well as onboard as an Executive producer next Jackson…


The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey stars Jackson as Ptolemy Grey, an ailing man forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn, played by BAFTA Award nominee Dominique Fishback (โ€œJudas and the Black Messiahโ€). When they learn about a treatment that can restore Ptolemyโ€™s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.

The rest of the cast includes Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Walton Goggins, and Omar Miller.

The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey will premiere globally from Friday 11th March on Apple TV+. The series will premiere with the first two episodes then a new episode every week after that.
