First Jigsaw Poster Is Ready To Disturb
How many times have we heard studios tell us this is the end of a particular franchise and a few months or years later they return. This coming Halloween it will be time to play ‘a game’ once again when the Saw Franchise returns for an eighth outing. Entitled Jigsaw, the iconic name of our franchise antagonist played by Tobin Bell, late last night the actor revealed via Twitter the movie’s first official poster. Today Lionsgate Films has released the poster, with a rather disturbing image of one of our killer’s many masks, now it’s your time to #Become Jigsaw!
We may not need much of a synopsis for Jigsaw, which doesn’t reveal anything about the actual story apart from what we’re expecting, Jigsaw/Jon Kramer’s signature ‘games’. The poster’s social media hashtag ‘Become’ suggests our ‘players’ may be forced to to become ‘jigsaw themselves. This is a reboot/sequel and with Kramer character actually dead, it will be very interesting to see how they work in Tobin Bell back into the franchise mythos.
One of the highest grossing Horror franchises of all time is back, taking the Jigsaw killer’s signature brand of twisted scenarios to the next level.
Jigsaw aka Saw 8 will be arriving in UK and Irish cinemas from 27th October, Halloween!The movie will also star Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen, Josiah Black. With The Spierig Brothers directing.
