First Image Of LOOPER Appears

From Straw Dogs Remake set in Louisana to another movie been shot there, LOOPER Brothers Bloom director Rian Johnson’s action sci-fi starring Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Jeff Daniels and Mr Yipee Kai yeh Bruce Willis. The movie tells the story of hitmen who get jobs set in the future, a time when time travel is illegal, this sounds a clever story and Johnson does have a reputation of been quite a good storyteller.

But Joe is no ordinary hitman. The hooded, bound victims he kills are sent back in time from 30 years in the future: he shoots them with a blunderbuss, burns the bodies, and all trace of the crime disappears. Life is pretty good for Joe, until one day a body arrives without a hood: it’s his future self, played by Willis. And he’s not going down without a fight…

Below thanks to Empire who recently got to visit the set of the movie currently shooting caught some footage as well as the first image from the movie and its Bruce Willis having some fun with a gun. How do empty a gun cartridge in 30 seconds? Let Bruce have a shot…Yippee Kai Yeah Motha Fo’! Im sure Willis misses the fun he had with guns from RED so he’s catching up on lost time, though he wont have long to wait when he’ll get his mucky hands on guns galore when shooting for The Expendables starts!

LOOPER is scheduled for a 2012 release.
