First Footage For World War Z! Trailer Coming Thursday!

It seems a lifetime ago The People’s Movies was nearly overran by Hollywood zombies when Brad Pitt and Hollywood came to Glasgow for Marc Forster’s World War Z. That was summer 2011 and now it’s nearly 2013 and we’re taking a step closer to seeing Max Brooks World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War finally becoming reality.This Thursday finally the first official trailer will land online but late last night we finally get a  look at the first footage for World War Z and though the footage is minimal we can say this film is going to be epic! The zombies  in hordes lay waste to all that cross there pass but don’t expect Romero style walkers when you see the footage they attack in piles so no wonder even the military cannot handle the power of the dead braineaters.It’s been a long and troubled road for the film from finance, production, re-shoots, re writes (moving from post apocalyptic to pre-apocalyptic) you wonder how much good will come out of this film?

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.

The World War Z  will arrive in UK& Ireland 21 June 2013 starring Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Lucy Aharish, Matthew Fox, Bryan Cranston, and David Morse
