Final King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword UK Trailer Get Prophetic

King Arthur Legend Of The Sword

‘This is your prophecy!’, very soon the legendary mythical British king will soon grace Uk & Irish Cinemas in 2 weeks (next week in the U.S), with King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword. Warner Bros are very keen to highlight Guy Ritchie‘s version of King Arthur will be completely different from the version know and love. Today they have launched one final UK Trailer that plays upon the birthright that was stolen from Arthur as a child when his parents were murdered. It’s time for Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) to reclaim his right and first, he must show the power of Excalibur!

Acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie brings his dynamic style to the epic fantasy action adventure “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.” Starring Charlie Hunnam in the title role, the film is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne.

When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

From this trailer and basically every piece of footage we’ve seen since the movie’s marketing kicked-off, the origins are different. The tone is more adventurous, more a fantasy tone with mythical creatures that could easily be more at home with Lord Of The Rings. This is not a bad thing, just gives the movie a more fun leave your brain at the box office and enjoy the ride mode. Be entertained and those lucky enough last week to catch the early preview all agreed it was a fun movie.

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword is set for a 19th May UK &Irish cinema release (17th&18th Previews) and stars Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Eric Bana, Poppy Delevingne and Annabelle Wallis.
