Rebecca Rawlings fights in Fight To Live

Now based in the Australian sunshine state, Queensland, it’s an appropriate bright place for the story of Rebecca Rawlings to be told. It’s inspiring and emotionally draining, her life has been through a thousand ups and downs.

Charting her professional fighting career as Rowdy Bec Rawlings, is exhilarating.

However, this astonishing personal tale does not hold back travelling throughout a turbulent domestic violence filled battle that as a viewer draws you in.

Admitting to a rough childhood, her sporting accolades were introduced to her by the ex-husband who also physically abused her whilst diving into even further depths of horridness by threatening to harm the children.

UFC is tough enough, Bec was made for it as you will see in a well told doco,

Both the training and strive to win is obviously strong from within for Bec, but the resilience to survive is also of absolute enormous strength, the evil ways of domestic abuse is an evolving dark cloud forever absorbing a humans will.

Although Bec is one of a kind, the uplifting, inspiring, invigorating journey is still something of a massive struggle. Through friends, family and pure aplomb, Bec remained positive for herself and for the protection of the children under threat.

The documentary shows Bec’s big personal resistant heart alongside an equally as strong primary existence in combat, in the octagon. The message remains that domestic violence can reach anyone, no one is safe, surroundings need to be continuously checked and care of friends, family, anyone of any age. An unfortunate fact.

Fight To Live is a  terrific, well made, brazen, multi emotive documentary not to be missed, although viewer discretion may be advised.
