Next month Disney will release the Star Wars anime limited series The Ninth Jedi. Today we get the official look at the series Official Trailer, can you feel the force?
The Star Wars universe has been very divisive the past few years. One of the popular highlights has been the Star Wars: Visions Presents and now one of those shorts The Ninth Jedi gets it’s own series.
The original episode appeared in season one and was directed Kenji Kamiyama (Lord Of The Rings: War of The Rohirrim). Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi is directed by Shunsuke Tada and follows a Kara, a young woman looking for her father who went missing after been hunted by Jedi Hunters. The series follows Kara who is now learning the ways of the Jedi who will once again go on the epic journey to save her father.
Will this series bring back some faith in the one time great franchise?

Presents – The Ninth Jedi,” will premiere August 5, 2026, exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu.
Part of an all-new “Star Wars: Visions Presents” banner, which will be used to tell longerform “Star Wars: Visions” stories, the limited series picks up not long after the events of the
“Visions” shorts: “The Ninth Jedi” and “The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope.” In the new series, Lah Kara
continues to train in the ways of the Jedi under Margrave Juro. Kara goes on an epic journey of
self-discovery as she and Juro’s small fellowship of Jedi-in-training embark on a quest to save
her father.
