Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum I smell the latest trailer for Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Slayer the updated remake of the popular fairytale better know to you and me as Jack And The Beanstalk. After it’s name change from Killer to Slayer to make it more ‘child friendlier’ (ah right!), 10,000 re-shoots, cuts, edits, re-schedules it now looks like all is go for the Spring 2013 released and Warner Bros. release the films second trailer or first official trailer with new title. The new trailer does tease us with epic scope of the world Jack lives in and what better way to narrate the film and give it the fantasy edge by having the dulcet tones none other than Sir Ian McKellan narrate.

When it’s a fantasy adventure and Sir Ian narrating if you didn’t know this was Jack The Giant Slayer the first few seconds you could mistaken the trailer as a new trailer for The Hobbit! The New trailer does also introduce Stanley Tucci who looks a bit ostentatious but in a positive pantomine way.Visually this looks ok ย and looks like it will be a lot of film however the problem with this trailer is really goes to town with the camp humour with Ewan McGregor who looks great been the lead instigator, Will Mr Singer pull it off or will Jack The Giant Slayer be another highly expensive 3D mess? All will be revealed on March 22nd 2013, the film also stars Nicholas Hoult,ย Eleanor Tomlinson,ย Bill Nighy,ย John Kassar,ย Ewen Bremner,ย Ian McShane,ย Eddie Marsan.

*22nd November 2012-Thanks to Warner Bros.Pictures UK for UK version of Trailer*
