Fear Street: Prom Queen trailer arrives

Netflix has released the first full trailer for their upcoming horror film Fear Street: Prom Queen, which you can watch below!

The fourth adaptation of a novel by famed author R.L. Stine, Fear Street: Prom Queen follows a trio of other adaptations that were released back in 2021 on the streaming platform within weeks of each other. They were Fear Street: Part One – 1994, Fear Street: Part Two – 1978 and Fear Street: Part Three – 1666. Stranger Things stars Sadie Sink and Maya Hawke, Gillian Jacobs, Fred Hechinger, Kiana Madeira, Olivia Scott Welch, and Benjamin Flores Jr. made up the casts across the films.

In the new film, it’s prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. When a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of 1988 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night. (via Dark Horizons)

Fina Strazza, India Fowler, Arianna Greenblatt, Ella Rubin, and Rebecca Ablack lead the cast, supported by seasoned actors such as Chris Klein, Lili Taylor, David Iacono, Suzanna So,n and Katherine Waterston.  Matt Palmer directs the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Donald McLeary. Kori Adelson, Dan Bernard, Peter Chernin, August Linn, and Jenno Topping produce.

Fear Street: Prom Queen hits Netflix on May 23rd.
