Fear Street Part One

There’s something in the woods as Netflix release the Official Trailer for Fear Street Part One : 1994.

After a couple of Trailers promoting the Fear Street trilogy today it’s all about Part One which will be with us by the end of the week. Each film set in a different year and with part 3 set in 1666 you wonder if the witch is what will connect all 3 films?

The tone, the feel, the look even the sounds all look like they are from the 1990’s. It all starts in Shadyside, 1994, a group of teenagers discover the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations which may all be connected. Will they be the next targets?

Despite R.L Stines books aiming at the older teens, the author has mentioned the films aiming a more mature audience. There certainly feels a Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark going on with a slasher killer running havoc in Shadyside. Are they possessed by the witch we keep hearing about? If so will Part 2 be about the witch?
