Everything In The Right Place For Ben Affleck In New The Accountant Trailer

The Accountant

He’s a killer by numbers But for Ben Affleck in the new UK trailer for The Accountant, ‘everything is in the right place’.In the latest promo for Affleck’s new upcoming thriller we learn more about the young and adult Christian Wolff, one that’s more at home with Einstein but as his Daddy says ‘the world is not a friendly place and that’s where he needs to learn to live’, check out the trailer…

Everything with this film’s premise is excitingly intriguing. A man crying for real human interaction but finds himself working with basically the scum of the earth, covering their accounting books. When your labelled a Savant the so called normal everyday things can be regarded as more difficult. The question is, what we saw in the first trailer Christian’s father learned him the hard way (throwing him into fights to defend himself), but did he learn too much of the hard way to know the difference between right and wrong?

We’re loving the whole set up of The Accountant, we can see the film splitting divisions between critics. Is it an John Woo hitman style thriller? Or a troubled man seeking that human connection in a pseudo-drama that may win him an Oscar contention? Whatever one both look good enough for us!

In The Accountant Christian Wolff (Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of- the- art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

The Accountant will be out in UK&Ireland from 4th November, co-starring J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Tambor, and John Lithgow.
