Can you hear the people sing!” this was the tune my fellow reviewers last week where whistling  as we left the cinema screen after watching Les Miserables the epic onscreen adaptation of The Victor Hugo classic Musical. At this time I’m not allowed to share my views on the film but will do start of January but what I will say the film is it’s epic in every portion of the film and tonight we have several new video which show why we’re calling this an epic musical.

First up is a new 60 second TV Spot called ‘Epic Experience’ which focuses on the critical acclaim, the awards nominations the film is receiving  as well as some more tidbits of fresh new footage, as extra bonus at the end their is 2 shorter TV Spots we missed from last week. Next is a new featurette from  MSN called ‘Re-inventing the musical’ which in the past 10 years has found a new lease of life on the big screen probably thanks to the success of films like Chicago. If your eager to see a clip  what better clip than ‘One Day More’ which if you’ve seen the stage musical it’s the first part finale which has virtually all the cast joining in on a note or two!

If you thought after the recent success of musicals in cinemas was dying out Tom Hopper’s  Les Miserables could be the catalyst to more musicals finding their way onto a cinema screen near you in the near future! Les Miserables will be heading to the UK&Ireland from 11th January 2013 however American cinephiles will have an extra Christmas present when the film arrives Christmas Day!

Les Miserables has an all star ensembled cast of: Hugh Jackman,Russell Crowe, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, Isabelle Allen.
