Emma Stone Is ‘Flawed’ In New Poor Things UK Trailer
Emma Stone is Bella Baxter ‘flawed’ experiment in person and we have another UK Trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos‘ Poor Things courtesy of Searchlight Pictures.
The trailer is short but sweet and showcases the whacky off beat tone of the film. It’s whimsical and it’s a film the steps into Terry Gillam fantasy tone, however this is a Alasdair Gray book nothing is straight forward in his books.
Emma Stone is Bella and this film is her fascinating tale , even evolution of her character. Brought back to life thanks to Doctor Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe), as she evolves she wants to experience more. That opportunity comes in the shape of the rather debauched Duncan Wedderburn ( Mark Ruffalo).

Poor Things also stars Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael and Christopher Abbot. You can see the film in UK and Irish cinemas from 12th January 2024.
