Emma Stone Is A ‘Psycho’ In Disney’s Cruella

Hide your puppies, as Emma Stone is ready to make a ‘statement’ as Disney release the Official First Trailer for Cruella! See the evil Fashionista come Vampire Bat in her young ‘rebel’ days as the La La Land star scorches 1970’s London.

After last night’s drop of the first poster  that teased Cruella De Vil was ‘Punk Rock’, today we see her grow into becoming that nefarious puppy slayer we loath from 101 Dalmatians.  After the success of Maleficent  and Angelina Jolie, Disney will be hoping for the same for Cruella.  Making her a Punk certainly edgy for Disney and refreshing too!

Stone plays young  creative grifter Estella whose determined make a name for herself in 1970’s London during the ‘Punk Revolution’. With fashion ideas she wants to be an success who attracts the attention of Baroness Vo Hellman,  sparking that ‘wicked’ side of Estella… Brilliant. Bad. A little bit mad.

Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s Cruella, an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious – and notoriously fashionable – villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. Cruella, which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella. 

The cast also includes  Emma Thompson, Mark Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Joel Fry, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and John McCrea.

 Cruella will releases on 28th May, 2021 in  the UK, Ireland and USA. There is hope of a cinema release this day, regardless it’s being released on Disney+ the same day.
