There’s been alot of tongue slips the past week from welsh footballers having affairs with Big Brother contestants , nazi sympathising Danish film makers  and now you can add new cast to  the ever increasing cast of Peter Jackson’s  the hobbit.

Last Night at  London The British TV Bafta’s The Hobbit star aka Bilbo Baggins Martin Freeman went upto to receive the award for best drama for his part in the recent tv adaption of Sherlock Holmes, he was joined by Benedict Cumberbatch also. The pair played the mythical dectective duo Holmes & Watson and after they collected the award the pair were interviewed backstage and this is when Freeman let slip accidently that Cumberbatch has also joined the cast of The Hobbit!

When confronted with the response Cumberbatch replied :“I can’t say at the moment, thank you very much.”

Now red faced Freeman Tried his best apologise – “I knew I was a sort of a big mouth but I didn’t realise to what extent I was a big mouth, and I’ve just ruined everything.

“I might not actually go back to a job – they might have just sacked me.”

The past few days have been big news on the casting front as several days ago it was announced  Facebook, Stephen Fry has also joined the cast of the movie to play a character called The Master of Laketown, a charismatic figure who is intelligent person but a weak greedy character who has a lust for treasure. Stephen Fry is no stranger to Peter Jackson as he’s been writing for Jackson on the Dam Busters project. Conan Stevens also joins the cast  to play an orc called Azog  and you can see from the image below Stevens ain’t no small fry !
