Edgar Wright’s The Running Man Remake Release Date Delayed?
Edgar Wright‘s The Running Man remake looks set to get a delay to it’s release according to Coming Soon.
It seems the delay will only be a small delay with The Running Man set for a release now on 14th November a week later than advertised. The report states the delay maybe down to let it the film play in more IMAX screens. The source doesn’t say if that’s globally or simply North America, however good chance it’s down to what other films releasing that week. According to Deadline it’s the releases with Predator: Badlands and Die My Love in the U.S. In the UK it’s Predator: Badlands and The Choral starring Ralph Fiennes. If the film is delayed in the UK it will be up against Die My Love, Nuremberg and Now You See 3.
The Running Man remake stars Glen Powell along with Colman Domingo, Josh Brolin, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera. This sci-fi actioner is based on a Stephen King book of the same name, set in a dystopian America. Powell plays a man who takes part in the deadly reality tv game show to earn money for his sick daughter.
