‘Don’t Lose Faith’ In New The Exorcist: Believer Trailer

We’re only weeks away from the return of the pea soup and the devil wants us to lose faith. In the new second UK Trailer for The Exorcist: Believer  don’t lose that faith!

Universal Pictures have released one more trailer that harks us back to the film’s legacy. Once again showing Regan MacNeil’s mother Chris. This trailer also highlights this will not be a remake but another sequel, but in the way David Gordon Green did with Halloween. Setting the sequel after the events of the original films and forgetting about those endless forgettable  sequels.

This will be another trilogy, what is worrying fans of this franchise, is down to what happened with the new Halloween trilogy, each film gradually worse in quality.

After the death of his Victor has been living with his daughter Angela. When Angela and her friend go missing in the woods, they return  a few days later with no memory, to unleashing a chain of events. Forcing Victor to face evil in its face with help from a familiar person.

Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years ago, Victor Fielding (Tony winner and Oscar® nominee Leslie Odom, Jr.; One Night in Miami, Hamilton) has raised their daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett, Good Girls) on his own.

But when Angela and her friend Katherine (newcomer Olivia Marcum), disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.

The cast for this one includes  Leslie Odom, Jr., Lidya Jewett, Olivia Marcum, Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, Norbert Leo Butz.  We mustn’t forget y Ellen Burstyn returning as Chris MacNeill.

The Exorcist: Believer now arrives in the UK, Ireland and USA on the same date and that day is 6th October.
