Female vampire under a veil in Salem's Lot remake

“Don’t Let Them In!” Watch Salem’s Lot Remake UK Trailer

Stephen King’s classic vampire novel Salem’s Lot has another adaptation. Today Warner Bros. Pictures release the UK Trailer and whatever you do, Don’t let them in!

When it comes to adaptations of books to screen, Stephen King wins hands down. Many are calling this a remake which technically is correct, it was released as a TV mini series in 1979 starring David Soul and James Mason. This time around it’s a feature film that’s heading to the cinema directed Gary Dauberman. Whose debut directorial feature was Annabelle Comes Home, he is no stranger to King’s books he wrote the script for the IT remake.

Salem’s Lot stars Lewis Pullman (Bad Times At The El Royale) is Author Ben Mears. He heads back to his childhood hometown Jerusalem’s Lot for inspiration for his next book only to find a vampire preying on the residents.

Here’s hoping this is ‘fang-tastic’! (sorry bad dad joke), posting the trailer less in 4 weeks before release, is that a bad sign? Hopefully not!

New Line Cinema’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1975 bestselling novel “Salem’s Lot” reunites the producing teams behind the record-breaking horror franchises “The Conjuring” universe and the “It” films. Gary Dauberman writes, directs, and executive produces the film. Producers are James Wan and Michael Clear for Atomic Monster; Roy Lee for Vertigo; and Mark Wolper.

Haunted by an incident from his childhood, author Ben Mears returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover the town is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire and his loyal servant.

The film also stars Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Pilou Asbæk, Alfre Woodard, and William Sadler. Warner Bros. Pictures will release Salem’s Lot in UK and Irish cinemas from 11th October. If you live in the U.S you can watch the film on MAX from 3rd October.
