Disney’s Moana Get’s ‘Olympic Champion’ TV Spot
Things are certainly hotting up over the Atlantic in Brazil as the Rio Olympics as the medals start to arrive for Team GB. These great international events are perfect to promote upcoming films and today Disney have taken advantage to promote their next animated adventure. Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Moana, a sweeping adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.

Moana is directed by duo Ron Clements and John Musker (Little Mermaid/Aladdin) with Zootropilis scribe Jared Bush, author Pamela Ribon and Taika Waititi(What We Do In The Shadows’) also helping out. The film includes the voices of. Alan Tudyk and Philippa Soo.
Moana arrives in UK 2nd December.
