Side Effects is a new provocative psychological thriller about Emily and Martin (Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum), a successful New York couple whose world unravels when a new drug prescribed by Emily’s psychiatrist (Jude Law) – intended to treat anxiety – has unexpected side effects.
 In Side Effects it looks like Rooney Mara is proving once again she is a superb strong actress delivering what looks like an intense performance of someone dealing with the after effects of a dangerous drug. This trailer plays up on the river of lies and mystery within taking the drug and been set in the pharmaceutical industry,but something more grounded in realism than Limitless. After Magic Mike it seems Channing Tatum can do no wrong and Soderbergh keeps faith in the actor who has been proving he’s more than a pretty face showing the world he does posses some acting chops.Obviously things will be fictionalised for entertainment reason however the over medicating part or simply giving patients wrong drugs then suffering from what sometimes is frighten side effects will strike chord with some people, It did with myself seeing family members suffer.
Side Effects will be released in UK&Ireland 15th March 2013 and also stars Jude Law, Catherine Zeta Jones and Vinessa Shaw
