When it comes to things going a little quiet after hectic times sometimes the saying silence is golden is perfect but in the case of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises it seems the silence is a little frustrating. Over the past few weeks it’s been Avengers Assemble that’s been picking up the eye of the cinephiles however today The Dark Knight Rises may have stole a little of the thunder.
It’s emerged that a new plot synopsis has appeared online thanks to Warner Bros official Licensee Filmcells spilling the reveal on their webpage and before you decide to read on it’s a bit of a spoiler.
When Commissioner Gordon stumbles upon a plot to destroy the city from within, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as the Batman. Waiting for him is the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batmans legacy piece by piece.
With 4 months to go there isn’t an official synopsis been release yet by Warner Bros which is making you think if there was one it would spoil the broth, so the storyline been kept to a minimum and the above was released with new plaques to accompany the film. Like anything especially in merchandise everything is subject to change like the plaques that come with the synopsis (see below) but the big burning question is who is the person within with the big mouth, now a traitor?So many routes we can take could it be Miranda Tate (Cotillard) a character we don’t know anything about, what about Joseph Gordon Levitt’s character we know he’s a cop which means he’s on the right side of the law but we don’t know much more than that.
Looking at the images below Bane’s slogan ‘I have Your Back’ you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know a certain caped crusader gets snapped in half but also there could be a connection to a story arc where Gotham City was destroyed by an earthquake. The Dark Knight Rises working title was however Magnus Rex a name for a Norwegian experiment into seismic activity, oh the mind does wonder! Why is Commissioner Gordon a fugitive? Is it call my bluff time?
