Criterion Collection UK January Slate Will Be Extravagant and Star Making

2022 is nearly over. With 2 months left The Criterion Collection and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment want to give Cinephiles best start to the new year. Today they tease us with what January 2023 has to offer and it will be a month that’s going to be ‘Extravagant and Star Making ‘.

On 23rd January comes The Breakfast Club, John Hughes‘ teen classic which vividly captures how young people hang out, act up and goof off! With its highly quotable dialogue and star-making performances, this film is an era-defining pop-culture phenomenon, a disarmingly candid exploration of the trials of adolescence whose influence now spans generations.

Following week on 30th January, comes The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen. The boundless imagination of Terry Gilliam yields a dazzling fantasy of epic proportions, inspired by the extravagant exploits of the fabled Baron Munchausen.
